The Accounting Consultant is responsible for providing accounting and financial advisory services to our clients, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data. This includes the accounting review, the materialization of the control, and the preparation of the tax return.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting entries up to date.
- Accounting review to ensure data reliability.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Analyze accounting discrepancies and anomalies.
- Prepare accounting and financial statements.
- Participate in optimizing costs and improving profitability.
- Propose solutions to resolve identified financial problems.
- Ensure compliance with current accounting standards.
- Carry out the materialization of accounting control.
- Prepare and submit the tax return.
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Must Have
- Diploma in accounting/finance (Bac+3 minimum).
- 5 years minimum experience in the financial accounting field
- Previous experience in an accounting firm or as an accounting consultant.
- Mastery of accounting software (Odoo is an asset).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax standards.
- Analytical skills and critical thinking.
