The Accounting Missions Officer is responsible for the complete management of accounting and financial operations for the facilities in the United States. This role requires experience in preparing and analyzing balance sheets. Additionally, advanced proficiency in English is required for communication with partners in the USA and managing financial documents.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire accounting process, including journal entry posting, financial statement preparation, and account closing.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, including IFRS, GAAP, and FASB, in all financial operations.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to assess the company's financial health and provide strategic recommendations.
- Prepare and present periodic balance sheets, financial statements, and management reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy of financial information.
- Oversee activities related to cost accounting and provide detailed cost reports by activity.
- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and financial procedures.
- Maintain smooth communication with financial and operational departments to ensure consistency of financial data and informed decision-making.
- Perform any other accounting or financial tasks assigned by management.
Skills and quality
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position, with proven experience in preparing and analyzing balance sheets.
- Excellent knowledge of international accounting standards, including IFRS, GAAP, and FASB.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for communication with international partners and managing financial documents.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software, familiarity with Odoo is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
