The Consultant will be responsible for implementing Odoo projects for companies from a wide range of industries, following Captivea's methodology. Captivea’s consultants translate client needs into software solutions.
As an Accounting Consultant, you will be an expert in the accounting modules and our main point of contact for accounting-related questions. You will also be responsible for implementing other Odoo modules (Manufacturing, CRM, HR, etc.).
Responsibilities |
Understand the project scope and analyze client needs: - Leading analysis workshops with clients - Demonstrating the software to clients - Reviewing existing accounting processes and proposing improvements using Odoo functionalities |
Managing the project: - Defining and monitoring project progress in collaboration with the client and internal teams - Planning, tracking, and adjusting the project phases according to constraints and priorities - Leading follow-up meetings and communicating project progress - Ensuring effective communication throughout the project and documenting decisions and changes |
Implementing the ERP software to meet client needs: - Defining and estimating tasks - Installing and configuring modules, especially those related to accounting - Customizing modules using implementation tools (Studio, automated actions, scheduled actions) - Importing data - Writing specifications and collaborating with developers |
Analyzing and evaluating current accounting processes and recommending improvements using Odoo features - Acting as a reference for accounting-related modules and assisting other team members with accounting questions (both internal and client-related) |

Skills & Qualifications |
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) in accounting, finance, or a related field |
At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting |
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements |
Experience with Odoo is a plus |
