ERP odoo Consultant

The ERP Odoo Consultant will be responsible for managing the implementation of the Odoo solution for companies from various industries (manufacturing, services, distribution, etc.). In this role, the consultant will play a central role throughout the entire project lifecycle, from needs analysis to final deployment, relying on Captivea’s proven methodology.

The consultant’s mission will be to understand the business processes of their clients, identify potential improvements, and translate these needs into concrete solutions within Odoo. They will help ensure the success of projects by delivering efficient implementation, high-quality support, and lasting customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities

Understand project scope and analyze client needs
- Gather and analyze business requirements (through workshops, discussions, etc.)
- Identify gaps between the requirements and Odoo’s standard features
- Propose suitable solutions using Odoo’s native features or custom developments
Manage the project
- Define and track the project progress in collaboration with the client and internal teams
- Plan, monitor, and adjust different phases based on constraints and priorities
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress updates
- Ensure clear communication throughout the project and document decisions and changes
Implement the ERP software to meet the client’s needs
- Define and estimate tasks
- Install and configure modules across various domains: accounting, sales, production, HR, logistics, etc.
- Customize modules using implementation tools (Studio, automated actions, scheduled actions)
- Import data
- Write specifications and collaborate with developers
- Test implemented features and organize validation sessions with the client
Ensure client satisfaction at every stage of the project
- Train and provide support to end-users
- Proactively suggest ways to optimize the client’s processes
Ensure compliance with Captivea's methodology

Contribute to pre-sales activities
- Collaborate with the sales team to analyze the initial needs of prospects and propose suitable solutions
- Deliver functional demos relevant to the potential client’s business activities

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in one of the following:
- ERP software implementation. Knowledge of Odoo and experience with Odoo implementation is a strong plus
- Or experience in specific areas such as Accounting, Production, or Supply Chain
Excellent communication skills, both client-facing and internal
Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members

Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
