Business Developer Representative

Captivea is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to help expand our presence across Texas and South Florida. In this role, you will represent both Captivea and Odoo, building strong local connections while supporting business growth opportunities across the US and internationally.

While this role has a regional networking and market-development focus, opportunities are not limited by territory. You will have the ability to work with prospects and clients globally while helping strengthen Captivea’s visibility in key US markets.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role with significant autonomy. You will build your own pipeline, develop long-term relationships, and manage opportunities from initial outreach through closing. Success in this role comes from strong networking, business acumen, and the ability to create value for prospective clients.

No prior ERP sales experience? No problem.

We provide structured onboarding and sales training built around proven methodologies including MEDDIC, Sandler, and SPIN Selling.

What You’ll Do

Build a Strong Professional Network
- Attend networking events, trade shows, chamber of commerce meetings, and industry events.
- Develop relationships with business owners, executives, and operational leaders.
- Expand Captivea’s visibility and reputation within your regional market.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network that generates business opportunities.
Generate and Close New Business
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Understand client operational challenges and business goals.
- Present tailored Odoo ERP solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
- Collaborate with internal solution and delivery teams throughout the sales process.
Represent Captivea Professionally
- Act as a brand ambassador locally and internationally.
- Build long-term partnerships based on trust and responsiveness.
- Support companies in their digital transformation journey.
- Stay informed on market trends and evolving business challenges.

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Interest in networking, consultative sales, and business development

Ability to engage confidently with business leaders and executives

Prior B2B sales experience is a plus, but not required

Associate degree or equivalent professional experience preferred

Interest in technology, SaaS, ERP systems, or business operations

Based in Texas or Miami with familiarity with the local business community

Existing professional network is a plus, or the ability to build one quickly
