The Accounting Consultant will be responsible for implementing Odoo ERP solutions for companies across a wide range of industries, following Captivea's project methodology. At Captivea, consultants translate client needs into software solutions.
As an Accounting Consultant, you will be the expert on accounting modules and our point of reference for all accounting-related questions. You will also be involved in the implementation of other Odoo modules (Manufacturing, CRM, HR, etc.).
Responsibilities |
Understand project scope and analyze client needs - Lead analysis workshops with clients - Deliver software demonstrations to clients - Review existing accounting processes and suggest improvements by leveraging Odoo functionalities |
Project Management - Define and monitor project progress in collaboration with the client and internal teams - Plan, track, and adjust project phases according to constraints and priorities - Lead follow-up meetings and communicate project status - Ensure effective communication throughout the project and document key decisions and changes |
Software Implementation - Define and estimate tasks - Install and configure Odoo modules, particularly accounting-related ones - Customize modules using implementation tools (Studio, automated actions, scheduled actions) - Import data - Write specifications and collaborate with developers |
Accounting Expertise - Analyze and evaluate current accounting processes and recommend improvements using Odoo - Serve as the go-to expert for Accounting modules and support other team members with accounting-related queries (both internal and client-facing) |
Client Satisfaction - Train and support end users - Propose process optimizations to improve client efficiency - Ensure adherence to Captivea's methodology |
Pre-sales Support - Perform functional demonstrations related to the prospect’s business activities |
Skills & Qualifications |
Minimum Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field |
At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting |
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements |
Experience with Odoo is a plus |
