The context
From a standalone POS to an integrated ERP backbone
SJ Plumbing is a plumbing supplies warehouse serving technicians and homeowners with a wide range of fittings, water heaters, valves and piping components from well-known manufacturers.
Before the project, SJ Plumbing relied on a standalone POS system and separate tools that created data silos and manual processes. Information had to be re-entered across systems, inventory updates were time-consuming, and management lacked a centralized, real-time view of operations.
The stakes were to eliminate data silos, reduce manual entry, and gain reliable, real-time visibility on sales, purchasing and stock so that teams could work faster, make better decisions and offer a smoother experience to their customers.

Captivea USA began the project with a complete analysis of SJ Plumbing’s Odoo environment, running business discovery workshops and defining deliverables to confirm scope, budget and timeline. Odoo ERP was deployed with Accounting, Odoo Studio, Sales, Point of Sale, Inventory and Purchase, providing a single, centralized system that automates transactions, streamlines quotes and invoicing, simplifies stock management and improves the accuracy of financial reporting.
