The context
Structuring Odoo to support rapid growth in iris photography
Iris Galerie SAS is an entertainment company based in Paris, France, that creates personalised works of art from detailed photographs of the eye’s iris for clients seeking unique, emotionally meaningful portraits.
Before this project, Iris Galerie was already using Odoo for production, while relying on a separate order management system for sales and invoicing and lacking integrated HR tools. This fragmented setup created risks around duplicated processes, inconsistent data, and limited visibility across operations.
The key objectives were to secure reliable, consolidated data across the company, support growth with a scalable ERP backbone, and ensure that both operational teams and management could rely on Odoo for day-to-day decisions and customer experience.

Already using Odoo for production, the client wanted to go further by replacing their existing order management system with Odoo modules, integrating HR management, and auditing their current setup to ensure overall system consistency and data reliability.
- Replace the existing OMS with Odoo Sales, Inventory, Invoicing and POS to manage the complete order-to-cash flow.
- Integrate Human Resources management into Odoo to centralise all employee-related processes.
- Audit the existing Odoo environment to validate design choices and ensure long-term scalability.

A complete analysis of the existing Odoo environment
Captivea France began the project with a detailed analysis of Iris Galerie’s Odoo environment, combining business discovery and themed workshops with different teams and functions to understand how the company operates. Based on this work, Captivea produced detailed deliverable documents describing the target solution, budget and approach, then presented and refined them with the client to confirm feasibility, align on the implementation plan and finalise a clear timeline.
