The context

A growing mountain-themed entertainment group looking for structure and visibility

DEPLACER LES MONTAGNES SAS is part of Marche d'Approche, a group that owns and manages several businesses ranging from geodesic structures and live performance scenography to night-time events and sports-related recycling, all operating in the entertainment sector.

Before the project, the client managed a diversified portfolio of activities with fragmented tools, making it difficult to coordinate supply, production, rentals and services across entities, and to keep accounting and financial information aligned and up to date.

The key objectives were to support growth with reliable processes, gain real-time visibility into stock and production, simplify accounting across multiple lines of business, and establish a robust ERP foundation that the group could confidently build on over time.

Their needs

A scalable ERP backbone for multi-activity growth

Seeking a solution to support their growth, streamline multi-company management, and simplify accounting processes, the client decided to rely on Captivea’s expertise in Odoo ERP implementation.

  • Gain clarity and confidence about the feasibility and suitability of an Odoo-based solution for their specific business model.
  • Ensure their business and processes were fully understood before committing to an implementation.
  • Confirm a realistic budget and timeline aligned with their priorities and constraints.
  • Obtain clear, consolidated reporting and operational visibility to effectively steer the group’s different activities.

The proposed solution

An Odoo ERP analysis and roll-out focused on supply, production, rentals, and finance

Captivea began with a detailed analysis of the client’s Odoo environment through business discovery and themed workshops, then deployed an integrated Odoo ERP covering Supply Chain (Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase, Barcode), Finance (Accounting, Invoicing, Sign), and Commerce (Sales, Subscriptions, Rental). This unified system centralises stock information, automates supplier orders, rental contracts, quotations, invoices and recurring payments, optimises production and purchasing, and simplifies financial management with more accurate and timely reporting.

The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.

Analysis objectives

  • To be reassured on the faisability
  • Show that we understood their business
  • To confirm a budget
  • To know and confirm how we will do it
  • Know the timeline

Analysis processes

  1. Business discovery
  2. Workshops By theme / group of people / domains
  3. Create the deliverables documents
  4. Present it
  5. Handle feedback

“We really felt well supported, especially thanks to the Captivea team, and particularly the project manager. Communication was easy, quick, and always clear, which made our transition much smoother. That constant support and availability were incredibly valuable throughout the project.”
