The context

Setting up a new restaurant from day one with Odoo

Divine operates Mayrig Bistrot, a Geneva restaurant that serves authentic Armenian and Lebanese cuisine in a warm setting with around 60 covers.

As a newly established restaurant, Mayrig Bistrot needed to structure its operations right from the beginning. Without an integrated system, point of sale, stock control, purchasing and accounting would end up being managed in separate tools, leading to manual follow-up and limited visibility on performance.

The priority was to open with reliable point-of-sale operations, maintain tight control over inventory and margins, and ensure that the restaurant team could focus on service and culinary quality rather than administrative work.

Their needs

A robust, integrated ERP to support a restaurant launch

Mayrig Bistrot wanted an Odoo ERP implementation that would efficiently manage its point of sale and organise all day-to-day operations from the start.

  • A reliable, easy-to-use point-of-sale (POS) system designed for restaurant service.
  • Centralised management of inventory and purchasing to avoid stock-outs and wastage.
  • Clear organisation of accounting and financial tracking within the same system.
  • Tailored Odoo features and training so the team could become independent quickly.

The proposed solution

A complete Odoo ERP foundation tailored to restaurant operations

Captivea France implemented Odoo ERP for Mayrig Bistrot, installing and configuring the point-of-sale terminals, and deploying Accounting, Employees, Inventory, Manufacturing and Point of Sale to centralise operations. Dedicated workshops and tailored developments aligned Odoo with the restaurant’s processes, while comprehensive training enabled the team to manage daily service, stock and finances efficiently from a single system.

The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.
