Customer reference
PVD SAS
PVD Textile, a specialist in promotional textiles and PPE since 1989, offers over 200,000 references from major brands such as Fruit Of The Loom and Gildan. They provide exclusive brands and a digital platform optimised for resellers and decorators. PVD stands out for its fast delivery times (24 hours within France) and personalised service, including multi-brand consolidation to optimise delivery times and costs.
The context
Fast B2B textile distribution with demanding delivery times
PVD SAS is a wholesale-retail distributor of promotional textiles and PPE, operating in a B2B model and supplying resellers and decorators with a very wide range of branded products and exclusive references.
Before the project, PVD was already operating at high speed, shipping varied and often small quantities within 24 to 48 hours, while relying on its Odoo environment without having a complete, structured review of how well the system supported their processes, their teams and their growth ambitions.
The stakes for PVD were to secure reliable, very short delivery lead times, limit stock errors and rework, and gain clear visibility on operations and performance while continuing to serve resellers and decorators with a consistent, high-quality service.
Their needs
An Odoo environment aligned with fast B2B distribution
PVD wanted to be reassured about the feasibility of their project on Odoo, to confirm the associated budget and timeline, and to ensure that their specific B2B textile distribution business was fully understood and supported.
- Validate that Odoo could reliably support rapid B2B deliveries with varied and small order quantities.
- Clarify and confirm the budget and implementation timeline before committing to the next steps.
- Ensure that their business model and operational constraints were fully understood and properly reflected in future processes.
- Obtain a clear, structured analysis and a roadmap for evolving their existing Odoo environment.
The proposed solution
A comprehensive analysis of the existing Odoo ERP as the foundation
Captivea France conducted a complete analysis of PVD SAS’s Odoo ERP, combining business discovery and themed workshops by teams and domains to understand day-to-day operations, then formalising deliverable documents, presenting them, and incorporating feedback to shape a realistic roadmap around the existing modules used for supply chain, finance, sales, services and human resources.
The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.
