The context
Centralising pharmacy purchasing flows across multiple tools and platforms
HYGIE31 Purchasing SAS is a Toulouse-based company that develops and manages 15 exclusive brands for its network of pharmacies, offering one of the most extensive ranges of natural and organic products on the market, mainly manufactured in France and co-developed with pharmacists.
Before the project, operational data was spread across several tools and logistics partners. Stocks from multiple logistics providers, supplier orders and sales from different platforms had to be handled through repeated imports and exports, leading to fragmented information, manual work and limited visibility of consolidated activity.
The stakes were to regain full and reliable control over purchasing and distribution flows, reduce time spent on manual data handling, secure stock and sales information from all partners and platforms, and prepare the business for future automation and growth without multiplying tools or risks of error.
Their needs
One centralised Odoo environment for all purchasing and distribution flows
Hygie31 Purchasing wanted to centralise its operational data in Odoo while continuing to use some existing tools, integrating stocks from logistics providers, importing supplier orders and consolidating sales from different platforms to reduce manual imports and exports and optimise data flows.
- Centralise all key operational data in Odoo while keeping some existing tools in place.
- Integrate and consolidate stock levels from multiple logistics providers in a single, reliable view.
- Automate or simplify the import of supplier orders and sales from different platforms to reduce manual file handling.
- Prepare for future automation through API connectors and gain consolidated reporting for decision-making.
The proposed solution
A structured Odoo analysis to secure the project and prepare future automations
Captivea France began the project with a complete analysis of HYGIE31 Purchasing’s Odoo environment, running business discovery workshops by theme and user group to fully understand their pharmaceutical distribution processes. From this, Captivea produced detailed deliverable documents, confirmed feasibility, budget and timeline, and defined how stocks, purchasing and sales data would be centralised in Odoo and progressively automated via API connectors, relying on modules such as Inventory, Purchase, Barcode, Accounting, Sales, Employees, Surveys, Project and Dashboard.
The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.
