The context

A growing Mid-Atlantic fitness retailer ready for an ERP backbone

Fitness Headquarters is a family-owned fitness equipment retailer and distributor that has been serving the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States for more than 30 years, providing commercial and residential customers with a wide range of exercise equipment, accessories, and locally manufactured Olympic iron plates.

Before the project, Fitness Headquarters managed sales, purchasing, inventory, delivery, and after-sales service with a mix of tools and processes they had developed over the years, supporting a diverse catalogue from leading fitness brands and their own locally produced equipment.

The objective was to support their continued regional growth, keep their product and service offering running smoothly from warehouse to customer, and maintain the level of personalised, family-style service that defines their reputation.

Their needs

An ERP platform aligned with retail, distribution, and service

Fitness Headquarters wanted an ERP solution that would bring their retail, distribution, and service activities together, streamline day-to-day work for their teams, and give them a reliable, real-time view of operations from stock to customer delivery.

  • Centralised management of product, stock, and order information across their fitness equipment catalogue.
  • Smoother order processing from initial customer request through fulfilment, delivery, and installation.
  • Better coordination between retail sales, warehousing, and service teams for a consistent customer experience.
  • Reliable operational visibility to support decision-making as the business continues to grow in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The proposed solution

An integrated Odoo ERP foundation for fitness retail and distribution

Captivea USA deployed Odoo ERP as the central system for Fitness Headquarters, connecting their distribution and logistics flows with their retail and point of sale operations so that teams share the same information and can follow each customer and order from initial interest through delivery and ongoing service.

The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.
