The context
Optimising an existing Odoo ERP to gain real-time visibility and enable better decisions
AUNILEC SOLAR is a leading specialist in energy conversion and inverter manufacturing, designing and supplying customised solutions for small to medium-scale photovoltaic installations ranging from 3KVA to 500KVA.
Before this project, AUNILEC SOLAR was already using Odoo ERP but lacked the reassurance and clarity they needed on how well the system matched their business, what improvements were feasible, and how to plan the next steps to truly support efficient, data-driven management.
For AUNILEC SOLAR, the key objectives were to improve overall efficiency, ensure reliable real-time data across the company, and support faster, better-informed business decisions in a growing solar energy market.
Their needs
Clarifying, securing and scaling an Odoo environment for better decision-making
AUNILEC SOLAR wanted their Odoo ERP to accurately reflect their business reality, provide reliable real-time data, and give them a concrete, budget-based roadmap and timeline for improving processes and decision-making.
- Gain clarity and confidence about the feasibility of optimising their existing Odoo ERP.
- Ensure that their integrator had a thorough understanding of their business, processes and specific challenges.
- Validate a realistic budget and a clear approach for how the implementation would be carried out.
- Have a clear view of the project timeline and how the solution would deliver reliable data for day-to-day as well as strategic decisions.
The proposed solution
A structured analysis of the Odoo environment to prepare a high-performance ERP
Captivea Luxembourg carried out a comprehensive analysis of AUNILEC SOLAR’s Odoo environment, conducting themed business discovery workshops with different teams, documenting processes and requirements, and consolidating everything into clear deliverables that were presented, discussed and refined based on feedback. On this basis, Odoo ERP was positioned as the central tool, built on modules such as Accounting, Documents, Sign, Discuss, Dashboard, Knowledge, CRM, Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Project, Planning, Email Marketing, Surveys, Employees and Odoo Studio, with the objective of saving time, automating repetitive tasks, centralising information, optimising inventory management, accessing accurate real-time dashboards and reports, and ultimately supporting sales growth.
The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.
