Overview

This app connects the Odoo AI app to OpenRouter, a platform that gives you access to a wide range of AI models through a single API key. Once the module is enabled, OpenRouter appears as a model option in your agents, alongside ChatGPT and Gemini. You choose the model for each agent based on what it needs to do, including free (:free) models such as GPT-OSS 120B, Gemma 2 9B and Llama 3.2 3B.

How does this Odoo application work?

  1. Install the module "connect_openrouter_ai" from the Odoo Apps menu.
  2. Enable OpenRouter in the AI app settings: tick the "OpenRouter (free models)" option, paste your API key (available at openrouter.ai/keys) and save.
  3. Open your AI agents: for any agent, new or existing, OpenRouter now shows up in the model list alongside ChatGPT and Gemini.
  4. Choose the free model that works best for you (GPT-OSS 120B, Gemma 2 9B, Llama 3.2 3B…) and start using it instantly in your agents, internal chat and AI fields.
