The context
Optimizing an existing Odoo ERP for cutting-edge scientific systems
SILENTSYS develops and proposes innovative ultralow noise systems covering photonics, THz/GHz and electronic modules for emerging industrial and laboratory applications.
Before this project, SILENTSYS had already implemented Odoo ERP but was struggling to manage it effectively. Different aspects of the system were used in isolation, consuming time and creating uncertainty about configurations, processes and how well Odoo matched their very specialized business needs.
The stakes were to secure reliable day-to-day operations, reduce time spent managing the ERP, and ensure that Odoo could fully support SILENTSYS’s innovative scientific activities with robust, scalable processes and clear visibility into their operations.

The proposed solution
A complete analysis of the existing Odoo environment
Captivea began the collaboration with a complete analysis of SILENTSYS’s Odoo environment, combining business discovery and themed workshops with different teams to understand processes across supply chain, production, services, HR, marketing, finance and sales. From this work, Captivea produced detailed deliverable documents describing how Odoo modules such as Inventory, Manufacturing, PLM, Purchase, Maintenance, Quality, Project, Accounting and others would support their operations, along with a confirmed budget, clear timeline and prioritized roadmap to streamline processes, save time and prepare future improvements.
