Customer reference
SAS Les Vignobles Villebois
Passionate about great Sauvignon Blancs, Joost de Villebois and his wife Miguela have been running Domaine Villebois for 15 years in the village of Seigy en Touraine. Fascinated by the complexity and power of Sauvignon Blanc grape expression, they now produce a range of 13 Sauvignon Blancs from terroirs from 6 Loire appellations. The range is presented as a discovery of the Loire vineyards, starting with regional appellations and ending with Sancerre's Sélections Parcellaires. Over time, Joost and Miguela have become the 'Loire Sauvignon Blanc Specialists'!
The context
From growing Sauvignon Blanc to selling bottles, with processes to streamline end to end
SAS Les Vignobles Villebois is a family-run wine producer in SEIGY, France, specializing in Loire Valley Sauvignon Blancs across six appellations and serving demanding European markets.
Before the project, their teams relied on fragmented processes and tools to manage production, inventory, purchasing, sales and finance, which made it harder to automate operations, keep information consistent and obtain a consolidated view of performance.
The stakes were to secure reliable operations from vineyard to customer, improve control over stocks and costs, and gain the real-time visibility needed to support the growth of their Loire Sauvignon Blanc range.
Their needs
A single ERP to automate wine production, inventory and sales
Les Vignobles Villebois wanted to address the need for automation, optimized inventory control, enhanced data analysis, improved customer relations, and accurate financial management through a unified Odoo ERP.
- Automate key operational processes from production to sales and finance.
- Optimize inventory control to avoid discrepancies and improve stock availability.
- Enhance data analysis with reliable information shared across the business.
- Strengthen customer relationship management and financial accuracy within a single system.
The proposed solution
An integrated Odoo ERP for wine production, inventory and finance
Captivea France deployed Odoo ERP as the central system connecting inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, barcode operations, accounting, invoicing and sales, complemented by CRM, Project, Knowledge, Spreadsheet (BI), Odoo Studio and Data cleaning, plus Bewease and Magento connectors. This unified environment streamlines operations, improves data sharing, delivers a single source of truth and supports time savings, purchasing and inventory optimization, increased sales and automation of recurring tasks.
The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.

“What convinced us to choose Captivea was their structured approach and transparency. In our field, wine production, we face very specific challenges. Although there are ERP solutions dedicated to viticulture, Captivea openly acknowledged that they had not yet worked with companies in this sector. However, they were willing to understand and integrate our specific requirements. We collaborated on a POC to test key functionalities and verify their ability to meet our needs. This also allowed us to assess whether Odoo could address them effectively. Captivea conducted these tests rigorously and ad”
