Onperfekt

on.perfekt is the Luxembourgish cooperative that’s shaking up the food industry. Their mission: to save fruits, vegetables, and local products deemed “imperfect” but perfectly good, often discarded for purely aesthetic reasons. By relying on local supply chains, they offer a sustainable, committed, and accessible alternative for everyone, reminding us that wasting food is so last season.

Case on Odoo

The context

From growing demand to a scalable digital backbone

Onperfekt is a Luxembourgish cooperative in the Food/Hospitality sector that rescues “imperfect” but perfectly edible fruits, vegetables, and local products, and brings them to consumers through a sustainable grocery model.

Before the project, Onperfekt was managing sales, shipments, and stock of imperfect local products with fragmented tools that did not fully support their specific business model. Processes such as order taking, inventory tracking, supplier coordination, and invoicing required manual work and repeated data entry, making it difficult to keep a clear, real-time view of operations.

The stakes were to secure a reliable and efficient system to manage growing sales volumes, keep tight control over stock and shipments, ensure accurate financial follow-up, and preserve the cooperative’s ability to operate sustainably while focusing on its core mission of reducing food waste.

Their needs

A flexible Odoo ERP to support a unique sustainable grocery model

Onperfekt turned to Captivea to implement Odoo ERP for managing their sales and shipments of “imperfect” local products, and to adapt the solution so it would fit their specific way of working rather than force them into rigid standard processes.

  • Centralize the management of sales, shipments, and stock for imperfect local products in a single, reliable system.
  • Automate quotes, orders, and invoices instead of relying on manual entry and separate tools.
  • Gain clear visibility on inventory and flows so products can be moved quickly and efficiently from suppliers to customers.
  • Be reassured on feasibility, budget, approach, and timeline through a thorough analysis of the Odoo environment.

The proposed solution

A tailored Odoo environment built on a thorough upfront analysis

Captivea first carried out a complete analysis of Onperfekt’s Odoo environment through business discovery workshops, themed sessions with different teams, and documented deliverables, in order to fully understand their sustainable grocery model and confirm feasibility, budget, and timeline. Based on this, they deployed and configured Odoo ERP with the CRM, Sales, Point of Sale, Subscriptions, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase, Email Marketing, Surveys, Accounting, Employees, Appointments, and Calendar apps, creating a flexible, integrated platform that centralizes customer and employee information, automates supplier orders, quotes, invoices, and payment flows, streamlines order processing with real-time stock tracking, and delivers instant sales and financial reporting.

The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.
