Editions Karné
Éditions Karné is a children’s publishing house based in Antananarivo, Madagascar. It offers picture books, quarterly Malagasy magazines, and audiobooks that blend entertainment with an appreciation of Malagasy culture. Its mission is to nurture children’s minds through stories and knowledge that help them grow into fulfilled adults.
Goethe-Zentrum Antananarivo/CGM
Goethe-Zentrum Antananarivo/CGM is the official exam centre of the Goethe-Institut in Madagascar, and the only one authorised to award its diplomas on the island. These certificates are internationally recognised and highly valued by employers, while higher-level diplomas provide access to German universities without an additional language test. The centre offers German courses from A1 to C2 level, in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), for children, teenagers and adults. Beyond language teaching, Goethe-Zentrum/CGM also functions as an active cultural centre, regularly hosting artistic events, film screenings, exhibitions and gatherings focused on German culture, and promoting intercultural exchange in Madagascar.
