The context
From fast-growing e-liquid brand to a unified digital backbone
LEVEST is a French e-liquid brand from the Dasteli group, manufacturing and marketing a wide range of classic, fruity and gourmet flavours designed in its own laboratories and distributed through wholesale and retail channels.
Before the project, LEVEST was developing its activity around its PrestaShop e-commerce platform while managing order tracking and back-office processes with separate tools and manual work. As volumes increased, this fragmented setup made it harder to follow orders end to end, consolidate information and ensure smooth communication between sales, logistics and finance.
The objectives were to secure reliable order tracking from website to delivery, ensure high-quality service for distributors and retailers, and equip the company with a scalable, integrated environment capable of supporting continued growth and strict traceability requirements.
Their needs
A connected Odoo environment for seamless e-commerce and order tracking
As a client since 2016, LEVEST wanted to connect its PrestaShop store to Odoo and organise its order tracking in a single, reliable environment, while having clear assurance on feasibility, budget, project approach and the migration path to the latest Odoo version.
- Connect PrestaShop with Odoo to eliminate re-entry and secure data flows between e-commerce and ERP.
- Structure and centralise order tracking so every team can follow customer orders from quote to delivery.
- Have clear assurance on the feasibility, costs and timeline of the project before committing to the migration.
- Clarify how the project would be carried out, with a shared understanding of processes and expected deliverables.
The proposed solution
A phased Odoo ERP project, starting with a thorough environment analysis
Captivea France North began with a complete analysis of LEVEST’s existing Odoo environment, running business discovery workshops by theme and by team to understand processes and constraints. From this, they produced detailed deliverables describing how to connect PrestaShop to Odoo and how to structure order tracking, then presented and refined them with the client. On this foundation, Captivea deployed Odoo CRM, Sales, Subscriptions, Accounting, Sign, Purchase and Planning, along with the PrestaShop connector, to centralise customer information, automate sales and purchasing flows, streamline planning and provide faster, more reliable access to financial and contractual data.
The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.
