The context

Optimising CRM and accounting to support international growth

FLXON is a leading manufacturer in flexographic and rotogravure printing, serving printers across the USA, Canada, Mexico and Latin America from its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Before the project, FLXON relied on CRM and accounting tools that did not fully support its growing international operations, resulting in manual work, fragmented information, and limited visibility across customers, suppliers, and financial data.

The aim was to secure reliable, real-time information on customers, sales and finances, streamline internal processes and give management the visibility needed to support continued expansion across the Americas.

Their needs

Stronger CRM and accounting foundations for a growing manufacturer

The client wanted to improve the management of their CRM and accounting to support their expansion, and turned to Captivea for an Odoo integration approach tailored to their specific objectives.

  • Improve CRM management to better support relationships with printers across multiple countries.
  • Strengthen accounting processes with a modern, integrated system based on Odoo.
  • Centralise operational and financial data to reduce manual handling and inconsistencies.
  • Have clarity and assurance on feasibility, budget, approach and timeline before committing to a full deployment.

The proposed solution

A structured Odoo analysis to ensure a successful ERP project

Captivea began the project with a complete analysis of FLXON's Odoo environment, organising business discovery workshops by theme and stakeholder group to deeply understand their processes. This work produced detailed deliverable documents describing how Odoo Inventory, Purchase, Accounting and CRM would be used, confirming feasibility, clarifying the implementation approach and timeline, and giving FLXON a solid budget and roadmap for their ERP evolution.

The first step of this project is to perform a complete analysis of the client's Odoo environment.

Analysis objectives

  • To be reassured on the faisability
  • Show that we understood their business
  • To confirm a budget
  • To understand and confirm how we will deliver the project
  • Know the timeline

Analysis processes

  1. Business discovery
  2. Workshops By theme / group of people / domains
  3. Create the deliverables documents
  4. Present it
  5. Handle feedback
