Business developer (Calgary)
Captivea is a recognized Odoo integration expert operating internationally. As we continue expanding in Canada, we are opening a Business Developer role in Calgary to grow our local presence and drive new business opportunities.
Responsibilities |
| Build and grow your local network - Develop and engage a strong professional network (events, meetups, business clubs, trade shows, etc.). - Identify key prospects and build trust-based relationships with decision-makers. - Increase Captivea’s visibility within the local business ecosystem. |
| Generate and close new business opportunities - Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities. - Understand client needs and position tailored Odoo solutions. - Deliver high-impact product demonstrations. - Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, demo, negotiation, and closing. |
| Drive long-term client relationships and growth - Build strong, long-term client partnerships. - Act as a trusted advisor throughout their digital transformation journey. - Contribute directly to Captivea’s growth in the Canadian market. |
Profile |
| 3–4 years of experience in business development or sales. |
| Experience in IT, ERP, or digital solutions (Odoo is a strong plus). |
| Strong hunter mindset with a results-driven approach. |
Ability to build and grow a network from scratch. |
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. |
Autonomous, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset. |
Fluent in English; French is a plus. |
