The context
An independent packaging testing laboratory with strict quality requirements
Metropack is an independent laboratory based in Reims that specializes in physical testing of packaging intended for transportation for manufacturers in sensitive sectors such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food processing, and luxury goods.
Before the project, Metropack relied on a previous quality management tool that no longer matched their operational needs or the strict quality requirements tied to COFRAC standards, making it difficult to manage tests, traceability, and reporting efficiently.

Captivea France first performed a complete analysis of Metropack’s Odoo environment, organizing business discovery workshops by theme, groups of people, and domains to understand their laboratory processes and quality constraints. From this, they produced deliverable documents, presented them to Metropack, and handled feedback to confirm feasibility, budget, and timeline. On this basis, Odoo ERP was set up and customized with key applications such as CRM, Sales, Invoicing, Expenses, Social Marketing, and Email Marketing, providing a centralized system that supports Metropack’s quality-driven operations and automates administrative and communication tasks.
