Odoo accountant consultant - Angers

The Consultant will be responsible for managing Odoo implementation projects for companies across a wide range of industries, following Captivea’s methodology. Captivea consultants translate client needs into effective software solutions.

As an Accounting Consultant, you will act as the expert on accounting modules and serve as the internal reference for accounting-related topics. You will also be responsible for implementing other Odoo modules (Manufacturing, CRM, HR, etc.). 

Responsibilities

As an ERP Consultant, you will:

Understand the project scope and analyze client needs

  • Conduct analysis workshops with clients
  • Deliver software demonstrations to clients
  • Analyze existing accounting processes and propose improvements by leveraging Odoo functionalities

Manage the project

  • Define and monitor the project plan in collaboration with the client and internal teams
  • Plan, track, and adjust project phases based on constraints and priorities
  • Lead follow-up meetings and communicate on project progress
  • Ensure clear communication throughout the project and document decisions and changes

Implement the ERP solution to meet client needs

  • Define and estimate tasks
  • Install and configure modules, particularly accounting-related modules
  • Customize modules using implementation tools (Studio, automated actions, scheduled actions)
  • Import data
  • Write specifications and collaborate with developers

Accounting expertise

  • Analyze and evaluate current accounting processes and recommend improvements using Odoo features
  • Act as the reference for accounting modules and support colleagues on accounting-related topics (both internal and client-facing)

Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project

  • Train and support end users
  • Proactively suggest improvements to optimize client processes
  • Ensure compliance with Captivea’s methodology

Contribute to pre-sales activities

  • Work with the sales team to analyze initial prospect needs and propose suitable solutions
  • Deliver functional demonstrations aligned with the prospective client’s business

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements

Experience with Odoo is a plus

Required: strong interest in technology and IT

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Compensation

We offer compensation based on your level of experience:

  • Junior: €27,000 – €37,000
  • Mid-level: €38,000 – €44,000
  • Senior: €45,000 – €55,000
